Jan 17, 2011 New Ultimate Recovery Menu is now available - Revision 245

Sorry for the late post..^-^..So, this is a new of Ultimate Recovery Menu and it now at revision 245. At first, I'm thought that I'm not going to post this stuff since it only comes with smalls updates. But, I'm changed my mind when I found out one interesting thing about this update. Ehm..What's so good about this release? Ceikor added a new function which is a plug-in editor into this URM. So, you can perform basic plug-in editing though your PSP such as make new plug-in entries, edit existing entries or completely remove the entries. Do you think it's cool to manage the plug-ins without connecting your PSP with PC? Yeah, it's cool for me. Why don't you try it yourself? See the video for a demo.

Warning:
Never attempt to install this tool on PSP 2000 (TA088V3)/3000/GO.
You may brick you PSP

Ultimate Recovery Menu Revision 245
  • Risk of buffer overflows (buffer overflow) has been fixed
  • A plug-in editor has been added. You can make new plug-in entries and edit existing entries or remove it entirely. Either one is just entering the plugin name, then the path is ms0: / seplugins used / or you are at the complete path.

Jan 15, 2011 Plug-ins Manager ; pprefs-prx ver 1.07 - supports 6.20 TN

Hey everyone, I know it seems long time, no update but believe me, I've been keeping extremely busy with school projects lately!! Today, I would like to share a new interesting tool with you guys. It's a plug-in and we called it pprefs-prx. So, what is exactly pprefs-prx? pprefs-prx is a plug-ins manager. This tool will allows you to view, control, duplicate or remove your current plug-ins command text [vsh.txt, game.txt...etc] inside seplugins folder. The cool thing is you can manage the plug-ins through your XMB. I can honestly say this tool is better than current plugins manager that available on 5.50/5.00 Recovery Menu.

Good news you 6.20 TN users! pprefs-prx ver 1.07 also works on 6.20 TN. This is the best opportunity for you to test/use it since that 6.20 TN is not able to manage your plug-ins.

Thanks to: Hiroi01

pprefs-prx ver 1.07
  • Language- Japan
  • less freezes

Requirement:
  • PSP with Custom Firmwares/ 6.20 TN
  • pprefs-prx ver 1.07

Installation Guide

1) Extract pprefs-prx ver 1.07 .rar.

2)Just copy seplugins folders and paste them right into your root of memory stick>>.......

Merge all the folder and replace all files.

Note:
  • If you currently have other plug-ins working on vsh.txt, just do nothing on vsh.txt file. Don't replace, don't copy when the PC ask you what to do with this file (vsh.txt). Leave these files in the destination folder.
  • After the process finished, copy this purple line ' ms0:/seplugins/pprefs.prx 1 ' to your current vsh.txt inside seplugins folder. For GO users, you need to use this line ' ef0:/seplugins/pprefs.prx 1 '.

If you need further explanation on plug-in installation or application installation, please refer the links below.

The next step is enable the plug-in. It should works now.

If you need a guide on how to enable PSP plug-ins, the link below might help you.

  • Guide for 5.03 Gen C, 5.50 Gen D3 and 5.00 m33 [Enable PSP Plug-ins guide ]
  •  For 6.20 TN, restart the VSH if your already running 6.20 TN HEN [ see your TN Vsh ]
