Apr 8, 2010 Guide on how to enable PSP plugins: PSP Guide



In this post, Fixmypsp want to share another tutorial of on how to enable PSP plugins. As you know, plungins must be enabled after installation to ensure that these plugins work on PSP. For anyone who does not have any idea to enable plugins, do not worry because it's need very simple step. In this tutorial, I have provided a way for 3 differents CFW which are 5.50/5.00 CFW, 5.03 Gen-C and CFWEnabler 3.70.


Example of plugins that have been installed.










1. Picture 1; seplugins folder.on the "Root of Memory Stick".

2. Picture 2 shows that the plugins have been installed and the they have been placed in the "seplugins" folder as shown in picture 1.



Enable plugins tutorial :

Custom Firmware 5.03 Gen-C

Requirement
  • PSP with 5.03 Gen-C Custom Firmware






1. Press the button "SELECT" on your PSP and you will prompt with the GEN VSH menu.Select the "Recovery Menu 'and press enter.

2. Next you will be shown with GEN Recovery Menu. Select 'Plugins' and press enter to continue this process.

3. After that, you will find that there are lists of plugins that have been installed. Press enter button to enable the plugins that you want to activate, and make sure the plugins is marked with the 'Enable'.



CFWEnabler 3.70

Requirement:
  • PSP with CFWEnabler 3.70 (5.03 MHU).
  • CFWEnabler 3.70 installer













    1. In mode CFWEnabler (5.03 MHU),on the XMB PSP> Memory Stick> CFWEnabler 3.70 installer and press enter.
    2. CFWEnabler 3.70 main menu will appear. Select 'Settings' and press enter.

    3. After that, you will see several lists of features available in the 'Settings'. Select 'Plugins' to continue with this process.

    4. Finally, you will see 'Plugins' menu. Press enter button to enable the plugins and make sure the plugins are labeledl 'On'.



    5.50 Gen-D3 Custom Firmware.

    Requirement:

    • PSP with 5.50/5.00 Custom Firmware.








    1). Make sure your PSP completely shutdown.
    • To shutdown the PSP, push power button upward and hold it for a few of seconds (more than 4 seconds).
    • To enter recovery mode, hold R button and at the same time switch on your PSP. You will see Recovery Menu as figure 1. Select 'Plugins' and enter.
    2). After that, you will find that there are lists of plugins that have been installed. Press enter button to enable the plugins that you want to activate, and make sure the plugins is marked with the 'Enable'.
