Introducing DedDinO_94 and his well-crafted homebrew application: PSP Keys Test v3.0. As you may already know, PSP Keys Test v3.0 works as a hardware scanner for your PSP. PSP Keys Test let's you check your PSP keys, the analogue, the speakers and screen pixel whether they are working or not. I suggest you to try it out, place the application (2.8MB) on your memory stick. Check it out:

Step 1

1) Extract 128106_PSP_Keys_Test rar file.

















2) Copy PSP Keys Test folder and paste it right into the root of memory stick>> PSP>> GAME>> ....

If you still do not know on where to paste this folder, please refer to the Guide on how to install application provided.(Installing Guide)


Step 2

On your PSP XMB>> Games>> Memory Stick>>  PSP Keys Test

Test control keys
  • Once the test started, you must press a PSP button at a time.
  • Each time you press the button, you'll see an image (flashing) of the pressed key.
  • If not, it means that key has problems. (Hardware or Software problem)
Test Control Audio
  • Once the test started, press L trigger to start a track from left box.
  • Press R trigger to start a track from right box.
Test Control Pixel
  • One the test started, change the wallpapers by pressing L or R trigger to locate dead pixels.
  • After the dead pixels detected, move your cursor over the pixels and press X button to start pixel repair.
  • To return to main menu, press [START] button.
