Look out guys! Here it comes! VirtuousFlame just released signed version of 5.03 Kernel Exploit HEN. So, what does this mean? For those who still stick to firmware 5.03, now you can load your ChickHEN R2 right from Game on your PSP XMB. The most important thing is no more head achy images. This is really good stuff men..Signed 5.03 Kernel Exploit HEN came with two different packs. One is for PSP 3000 and the other one is for PSP 2000 TA-088V3...Hope you will love it.

Dec 2, 2010 5.03 Prometheus 4 released! Monster Hunter Portable 3 works!!: PSP Custom Firmware

A new version 5.03 Prometheus is available right now for your updating pleasure as version 5.03 Prometheus-4. DaNS has released this Prometheus special for those who are using PSP 3000/2000 TA088V3 and also for those who eager to play the latest released Monster Hunter Portable, Monster Hunter Portable 3. However, it seems there is a technical problem on this released. I have found out that the system information keeps showing 5.03 Prometheus 3 instead of 5.03 Prometheus 4.

Guys, don't worry about that little thing because Monster Hunter Portable 3 still works. Yeah, it still works on this released. Probably just a minor bug but I will keep you update if there any change made on this Prometheus. Although I haven't tested it yet, I've got a video to prove.

This installer will tune up your PSP and make it run pretty much every PSP games including latest released games that only work on 6.31 firmware and it should increase your Gen C compatibility. It also can reduce any flaws that occur while playing games after Liquidzigong applied bug fixes here and there on this new released. Anyway, get updated and enjoy the latest version of 5.03 Gen C Prometheus 3.

To all PSP fans, especially to the PSP 3000 and PSP 2000 TA-088V3 users who still did not install 5.03 Gen-C, Fixmyproblems has provided a tutorial on how to install 5.03 Gen-C for your PSP.







Custom Firmware 5.03 Gen-C the final release.

Capabilities: Can play the latest games such as

• Tekken 6
• Gundam vs Gundam
• Phantasy Star Portable 2
• Naruto Shippuden Accel 3.
• Avatar the game.
• Others.

Guide.

Requirements:

• All PSP models except PSP Go
• PSP with 5.03 firmware.
• PSP with ChickHEN R2 loader. If you still can not install this application, please refer to the guidelines provide. ( ChickHEN R2 Guidelines).
• 5.03 Gen-C ( Download Here)

Step 1.

Connect your PSP to the computer or connect the memory stick to a card reader.

1.1) Extract 'gen-c final release' zip file.

1.2) 'gen-c final release' folder that already extracted.

1.3) Click PSP folder.

1.4) Game folder inside PSP folder.

1.5) Content inside GAME folder.

Copy GEN-C folder and paste it into the root of memory stick> PSP> GAME>....

If you not sure on how to paste the folder, please refer guidelines provided. ( Installing Guide).



After finish first step, let proceed to the second step.

1) On your PSP XMB, go to Games> Memory Stick> 5.03 Gen C and press enter. Make sure your PSP in CFW or ChickHEN R2 mode.






2) You will be shown as diagram 2. Press X to install this CFW.





3) After that, Gen-C's reboot menu will appear. Press X to reboot.






Finally, on your XMB, press 'SELECT' button on the PSP to open Vsh Menu.

Check UMD ISO MODE and make sure it is labeled with M33 driver. If not, you need to change it by pressing the left or right button.
