Recently, Fixmypsp have tried a PSP plugin that released by one of PSP programmer whose known as Hakuryu. The plugin was called SMB 0.4 (Save My Battery) and it works as a system that can saves the usage of Sony PSP battery power. For users who frequently travel with Sony PSP, this plugin can minimize the power usage and help you spend more time to play PSP games . In addition, this plugin also can help users who have faced weak PSP battery problem.
SMB 0.4 features:
- Automatic turn off screen
- Turn off screen after put PSP in HOLD mode
- Set time to turn off the screen
- Low battery indicator

- PSP with Custom Firmware

Tutorial
Step 1
1) SMBv0.40 rar file. Unrar the file.
2) Copy SMB.prx and vsh file into root of memory stick>> seplugins>>...
*Please follow this step if you already have vsh file:
- Open SMB vsh file.
- Copy the instructions contained in the vsh text file and paste the command into root of memory stick>> seplugins>> vsh.
If you're still confused, please refer to the manual Installing plugins that provided (Guide Installing Plugins)
Step 2:
Please enable SMB.prx plugins in recovery menu >> plugins. If you have problems to enable the plugin, please refer the guide provided ( Guide enable PSP plugins).
User Guide:
- After you successfully installed the plugin and enable SMB 0.4.prx, you can activate SMB 0.4 menu on your PSP XMB by pressing the button [START] + [R Trigger]. Example shown in the picture below.
- You may fail to start the menu. You may solve the problem by running any application or game that available on the XMB>> Game>> Memory Stick >>...... After that, exit your current game / application. On your PSP XMB, you can try again to enable SMB 0.4 menu by pressing button [START] + [R Trigger].
- On the menu, you will find some options that will help you to reduce the usage of battery power.
