In the previous post, I have introduced a Homebrew application which called PSP Maps v2.2. For those who still have no idea about this application, PSP maps v.2.2 will let you view world maps on your PSP. I can say that this application works as same as Google Maps. However, we need extra effort to make this application run smoothly on your PSP. In this post, I will explain and give guide on how to use or run PSP Map v2.2.
Guide on how to use PSP Maps v2.2
I have found 2 method on how to make this application working fine on PSP:
- Download maps cache directly from PSP
- Download maps cache through PC/Laptop.
Requirement:
- Internet connection
- PSP Maps ver. 2.2 (Download Here)
Opinion:
Based on my short research about 2 different method above:
- Download maps caches directly from PSP- This is the fastest method to use the application. Just make sure you have very good internet connection on PSP, then you 'maybe' can use the application in no time and view your favorite maps. 'Maybe'?. I'm used word 'maybe' because the rate of success to make PSP Maps works by using this method nearly 50-50. If you found any problems after used this method, I'm suggest you to move on second method.
- Download maps cache through PC/Laptop- This method is quite different than the first method. I sure, this method will make your PSP view the maps well. So, I will explain to on how apply this method on your PSP.
Guide [ Download maps caches through PC/Laptop ]

Step 2:
