Developer Liquidzigong has released a new Custom Firmware additional installer, Custom Firmware 5.50 Prometheus-2. This installer will let your PSP run or play the latest PSP games that lunched for firmware 6.30. As its' name, this installer only works on PSP with Custom Firmware 5.50 Gen D3 or 5.50 Prometheus (Previous version). For those who are using 5.50 Custom Firmware, what are you waiting for..Lets' grab it.

• This isn’t to be confused with 5.50 Prometheus v2 (Released in June) As Prometheus-2 has 6.30 OFW support, v2 doesn’t!.
• Support games that require firmware 6.30.

Requirement:

• CFW 5.50 Prometheus-2 (Download Here)

Tutorial

Step 1

1) Extract Prometheus 2 [CFW5.50]





















 2) Copy 5.50_Prometheus and paste it right into the root of memory stick>> PSP>> GAME>> ....


 If you have problem on where to paste this folder, please refer to the Guide on how to install application provided.(Installing Guide)

Step 2

On your PSP XMB>> Games>> Memory Stick>>  5.50 Prometheus 2

1) After successfully enter the installer, just press X to install the CFW.









2). You can check your PSP system information and you will see your System Software labled with 5.50 Prome-2.

You can test your modified CFW 5.50 by run any latest games. Good Luck.
